A beautiful piece of glass work will make anyone stop and take notice.  It picks up the light and calls to us like no other form of art can.

For me, glass art is not just a hobby or a fascination (although this is a large part of it). It's the revival of a old family tradition. My great grandfather, and his father and uncle were all glass blowers. After a few generations lost, I'm taking the tradition in a slightly different direction with lamp working and glass fusing. I made my first glass bead a few years ago, and I’m not sure I could stop playing with it if I wanted to.
